Roma extends Paredes’ contract until 2026

Serie A giants AS Roma have announced that key midfielder Leandro Paredes has agreed a new contract extension with the club until June 30, 2026.

The midfielder was a member of Argentina’s 2022 World Cup-winning squad and has enjoyed a remarkable career in the Giallorossi.

Paredes moved to Rome in 2014 from Boca Juniors and played for the team in two spells, the 2014-15 and 2016-17 seasons, before returning in the summer of 2023.

Paredes has scored one goal and provided one assist in 27 appearances across all competitions this season.
